Individual Therapy for Youth and Adults (14+)

I work with individuals from all backgrounds and have a special focus on supporting those within the 2SLGBTQ+ community and those exploring their identity in relation to it. Our work can focus on aspects of identity, including exploration, connection, community building, and the complex emotions that often accompany this journey—such as shame, fear, pride, and celebration.

Much of my practice centers on helping youth and adults reduce the impact of anxiety and depression, guiding individuals with ADHD through challenges in school, work, and relationships, and supporting those exploring their identity in relation to themselves and others. Together, we can work to build a strong foundation of self-understanding that empowers you in your relationships—whether with a partner, family member, colleague, or peer. Developing a clear sense of identity, along with targeted interpersonal skills, can help you face relationship challenges with confidence and achieve personal and relational goals.

I’m here to support you in exploring and embracing your identity, whatever that may mean for you, and to provide a safe, affirming space for growth, healing, and self-discovery.

Parent Support 

For ADHD, Anxiety and Depression

I provide compassionate support for parents who are navigating the challenges of raising children with ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Together, we can explore ways to establish effective boundaries, learn strategies to manage emotional outbursts, and create a stable, emotionally safe environment that benefits both you and your child. My goal is to empower you with the tools and understanding needed to support your child through these experiences, helping you strengthen your relationship and nurture their well-being.

For 2SLGBTQ+ Acceptance

Even with profound love for their children, parents may face challenges in understanding and supporting a child who comes out as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly process your feelings, ask questions, and develop the skills and confidence needed to support your 2SLGBTQ+ child. Through our work together, you’ll gain insights and practical tools to help foster an inclusive and accepting home environment that honors your child’s identity and strengthens family bonds.

DBT for ADHD

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) offers a structured approach for managing ADHD symptoms. Through DBT’s techniques in mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance, you can improve focus, better cope with emotions, and enhance your relationships. DBT provides a balance between accepting ADHD as part of who you are and developing practical skills to address its impact on your life.​ 

 

Three key traits of ADHD that DBT addresses are the Interest-Based Nervous System, Emotional Hyperarousal, and Rejection Sensitivity.  DBT can also help improve relationships that are often strained as a result of these traits.​

Rates

Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and available in-person or virtually to best suit your needs.
